Microsoft A+ CompTIA® A+® Certification
This course is the first step in your preparation for a career as an entry-level information technology professional or personal computer technician. This course will draw on your current understanding of personal computer software and hardware. You will acquire the skills necessary to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, and perform preventative maintenance on personal computer hardware and operating systems.
A Candidate for this course is anyone with basic computer user skills who is interested in acquiring a job as an IT professional or PC technician.
Prerequisites include:
End-user skills with Windows-based personal computers
Ability to Browse and search for information on the Internet
Log on to a computer and computer network
Execute Programs
Move, Copy, Delete, and Rename Files
The basic functions of the Operating System, Applications, and File Systems.
Familiarization of Computer networks.
